Here is a reminder of what we need to wear for the trip:
Due to the hazards of Utah winter weather in the mountains there are certain requirements or prerequisites each child must fulfill. Weather on the mountain varies dramatically. To board the bus, your students must have:
● Warm footwear (Waterproof boots and warm socks)
● Warm winter hat
● Waterproof gloves (knit gloves as liners only, they do not stay dry in the snow)
● Winter Coat
● Snow Pants (NO DENIM JEANS!!!)
Students that show up without the above equipment will not be allowed to participate for safety reasons.
In addition to these requirements here is a list of suggestions:
● A pair of dry socks to be used after the activity
● Wear layered clothing (shirt, sweatshirt, coat, etc.)
● Wear synthetic materials such as a poly blend.
● Cotton is not warm when wet, do not send your child in cotton socks or a cotton t-shirt.
